Tomar Trust to Help Fund B4OC
Broadband 4 Our Community received a much-needed financial boost from Tomar Trust earlier this year. Thanks to the help and guidance from Kilkenny LEADER Partnership we were able to showcase our project to representatives of Tomar who provided match-funding to the already generous donations from local bodies.
The Tomar Trust is a philanthropic trust that aims to contribute to strengthening Irish society. The Trust aims to deepen its commitment to rural Ireland, to the building of strong communities and resilient young people, and aims to address some of the big issues facing Ireland today and investing in the solutions to solve them.
B4OC will use the donation towards training of local labour in fibre splicing and also purchasing the specialised materials required to build this network. Fantastic news!
