Following the informative public meeting in the Community Centre on September 23rd, door-to-door canvassing to gather names for an Expression of Interest for community-owned fibre optic broadband is underway across Piltown & Fiddown.
This survey is the starting point for the feasibility study into the installation of a community owned fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service.
Volunteers from the Better Broadband for Piltown committee will be calling to all 742 residences in the area to explain of the study and gather signatures in support of the need for such a service.
