Good news for the people of Piltown. After months of negotiations and planning Piltown is now connected to the national fibre-optic grid. This will provide the village with it’s own gigabit connection where we can build out our bespoke Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network.
We are currently connecting our first customers in phase 1 (Ardclone). Once we have validated the network and commissioned the fibre-transmission equipment our first customers should be experiencing next generation broadband in the coming weeks. We will then be rolling out fibre to Phase 2 (Creamery Road) and Phase 3 (Tybroughney).
The success of this project so far could not been achieved without help and support from local people but there is much more work ahead before the network is complete. Please be patient and get in touch if you think you can help in any way.
